Guymon, Oklahoma – August 22, 2025 – Today marks an exciting milestone for the Shawnee Tribe and the community of Guymon as the Golden Mesa Casino proudly celebrates the grand opening of its highly anticipated $70 million expansion.
The expansion introduces a 100-room hotel, a new recreational vehicle (RV) park, and a full-service restaurant, while doubling the size of the gaming floor to accommodate more than 1,000 electronic games. Guests will also enjoy enhanced amenities including a new on-site coffee shop, creating a complete resort-style experience in the Oklahoma Panhandle.
This major development is projected to generate lasting benefits for the Shawnee Tribe, its citizens, and the broader region—boosting tourism, creating jobs, and expanding entertainment options for residents and visitors alike. With more than 250 employees now supporting operations, the Golden Mesa Casino stands as a vibrant economic driver and a symbol of progress and opportunity.
